Lucky Palms help: Opstartprogramma crasht wanneer je De-installeert
Der zijn problemen in de startprogramma gekomen door Lucky Palms, er word aan dit probleem gewerkt, voor meer info, lees de tekst.
We have discovered an issue that can occur when uninstalling Lucky Palms. If you uninstall Lucky Palms an error can occur that causes the launcher to crash on start-up.
We are working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, if you plan to uninstall Lucky Palms please remove the World and be sure to uninstall the Heavenly Bells Slanted Columns individually via the Launcher (see steps below)
If you have uninstalled Lucky Palms and you are encountering a crash please delete the DCCache folder found here: Electronic Arts\The Sims 3
This will remove all installed content, but it will resolve the crash and you will be able to reinstall content via the launcher.If you have any questions please post here and we will do our best to help.
To uninstall Lucky Palms:
1. Got to the Installed Content tab in the Launcher.
2. Search for the Heavenly Bells Slanted Column and select these assets – there are 3 – individually in the Launcher.
3. Find and select the check box for the Lucky Palms world as seen below.
4. Select the Uninstall button and wait for the uninstall success confirmation dialogue.

In The Sims 3 Supernatural we wanted to bring in a new element of gameplay that would affect both ordinary Sims and supernatural Sims. Playing into the theme of magic, mystery and mischief, we thought that a luminous Lunar Cycle could set the stage for some strange happenings that go bump in the night. Of course, none of The Sims games would be complete without the option of customization, so the team created a new tab specific to the Lunar Cycle to allow for more player customization. In The Sims 3 Supernatural you can set your Lunar Cycle to rotate through the different phases of the moon, which can last anywhere from two days to ten days. If you wish, you can even choose to have the moon stay static. For instance, if you wish to have a full moon every night, you can do so by selecting the static option. The same works for any of the other moon phases.Can regular Sims adopt Supernatural children?
No, Sims will not be able to adopt supernatural children but players will be able to create supernatural children directly from CAS.

The fix for the Showtime performers using Late Night lots appears to go even further:
- Graveyards, Fishing Spots, and Beaches work as a park gig.
- Pool, Gym, Library as well as Dive Bars work as Bistro Gigs (Coffeehouse is what it’s called in game I think).
- Hangouts and the LN Dance Clubs work as Live Venue Gigs.
- Art Gallery, LN Lounges, and the Horse Ranch work as Private Venue Gigs.
Tuning files for the Premium store items have been added to the package. There’s the existing ones and two unreleased:
Vending Machine, which comes in flavors Candy, Health, and Drink and offers the interactions Buy to eat later, Restock, Kick, Buy to eat. Items has a chance to get stuck.

Sims 3 game update 1.36 beschikbaar!
Om deze update te installeren, moet je je game opstarten en het tabblad ‘Updates’ in het Startprogramma gebruiken.
Deze update voor de game bevat de volgende wijzigingen:
Showtime
- Er is een crash verholpen die optrad wanneer de ‘Data Execution Prevention’ (voorkoming van gegevensverlies) aan stond.
- Er zijn nu collecties beschikbaar.
- Sims zullen in ‘Sim creëren’ geen groene tint meer hebben.
- Relaties zullen niet op negatieve wijze beïnvloed worden wanneer er niet wordt gereageerd op verzoekjes uit het publiek tijdens een optreden op een podium.
- Showlocaties uit Showtime zijn toegankelijk als nachtclubs.
- De Muurzicht XXXXL Televisieset zal nu de juiste effecten afspelen.
- De stabiliteit online voor SimPort en prestaties is verbeterd.
- Locaties in Showtime kunnen nu optredens ontvangen wanneer de juiste podiumvoorwerpen geplaatst zijn.
- De stabiliteit van de game is verbeterd.
Na Middernacht
- Locaties in Na Middernacht kunnen nu optredens ontvangen wanneer de juiste podiumvoorwerpen geplaatst zijn.
Algemene updates
- Er verschijnen geen dynamische uitdagingen meer in het Startprogramma.
Updates van de Store
- Extra ondersteuning voor aankopen uit Storesets, die in de game worden uitgelicht.
- Het BauHaus Hek zal nu op de juiste manier geïnstalleerd worden.
- De stabiliteit van het Startprogramma na het installeren van gebundelde voorwerpen is verbeterd.
- Er is een probleem opgelost met een bepaalde jurk die gedownload kon worden voor ‘Sim creëren’ en die het been van een Sim liet verdwijnen.
- De prestaties voor uitgelichte voorwerpen uit de Store zijn in Kopen verbeterd.
Voordat je een update voor De Sims 3, een uitbreidingspakket of een accessoirespakket gaat downloaden, is het slim om eerst de volgende checklist door te nemen. Zo kun je ervoor zorgen dat je game soepel blijft draaien.

Stap 1: Aangepast materiaal uitschakelen
Onder aangepast materiaal verstaan we al het De Sims-materiaal dat niet afkomstig is uit een officiële update voor De Sims 3, De Sims 3 Store, een uitbreidingspakket of een accessoirespakket. Aangepast materiaal wordt gecreëerd door externe partijen die niet onder toezicht staan van Electronic Arts of het Team van Ontwikkelaars van De Sims 3. Het kan gebeuren dat dit materiaal niet werkt met nieuwe updates. Door aangepast materiaal kan de game onvoorspelbaar reageren, of niet naar behoren functioneren.
Om het aangepaste materiaal uit te schakelen, moet je de stappen die je genomen hebt om dit materiaal te installeren ongedaan maken, tot je game zich weer in een onaangepaste staat bevindt. Verplaats het materiaal als je het in een Sims 3 directorymap hebt geplaatst naar een nieuwe map, die zich niet in de bestandendirectory van De Sims 3 bevindt. Jouw De Sims 3 bestandendirectory vind je door de paden hieronder te volgen:
Windows bestandendirectory: C:\Documenten en instellingen\GEBRUIKER\Mijn documenten\Electronic Arts\De Sims 3
Mac bestandendirectory: Gebruiker/Documenten/Electronic Arts/De Sims 3
Na het installeren van de officiële update, kun je het aangepaste materiaal weer instellen. Mochten er hierdoor problemen ontstaan, dan kun je het materiaal het beste uitschakelen tot de externe partij het materiaal bijgewerkt heeft, zodat het weer gebruikt kan worden in combinatie met de officiële updates, uitbreidingspakketten of accessoirespakketten.Stap 2: Een back-up maken van opgeslagen games
Het is altijd een goede voorzorgsmaatregel om een back-up te maken van je opgeslagen spelgegevens, voor je een nieuw uitbreidingspakket, update of accessoirespakket gaat installeren. Dit doe je door de “.sims3”-mappen naar je Bureaublad of een andere directory met bestanden te kopiëren. Je vindt deze mappen in de map met opgeslagen spelbestanden.
Je map met opgeslagen spelbestanden van De Sims 3 vind je door de paden hieronder te volgen:
Windows bestanddirectory: \Mijn documenten\Electronic Arts\De Sims 3\Opgeslagen spellen
Mac bestandendirectory: Gebruiker/Documenten/Electronic Arts/De Sims 3/Opgeslagen spellen
Nadat de Update geïnstalleerd is, kun je de game laten draaien om te kijken of je opgeslagen spellen nog steeds naar behoren functioneren.Stap 3: De update volledig uitvoeren
Updates kunnen soms behoorlijk omvangrijk zijn. Hierdoor kan het downloaden en installeren een tijdje duren. Door de update te annuleren voor deze volledig is uitgevoerd, kunnen er onverwachte problemen optreden. Om deze reden is het altijd het beste om af te wachten tot de update volledig is uitgevoerd. Sluit het Startprogramma niet af tot je bevestigd hebt dat de update volledig geïnstalleerd is, anders wordt de update geannuleerd.
Lunar Lakes krijgt geen Winkel versie (Box met code)

I’ve been reading through all your great questions and thought it was time to check in and get some more answered. Going along with our grouping theme, we’ve selected three new topics to dive into and shed some light on what you can expect in The Sims 3 Supernatural. Below you’ll find the next set of your hot questions, answered!

1. Can pets be supernaturals?
Zombie dogs or fairy kittens could make for a whole game itself! In The Sims 3 Supernatural, pets that you’ve created using The Sims 3 Pets will not take on supernatural abilities. However, witches that own a cat or one of the other “small animals” will gain special benefits such as having an increased skill with the wand, having an increased mood and having a slower drain on magic.2. Can pets turn into zombies?
No, pets do not turn into zombies.3. What’s new for ordinary Sims?
There are lots of new things for ordinary Sims to discover in The Sims 3 Supernatural. For instance, there are new traits to choose from such as ‘Supernatural Skeptic’ or ‘Supernatural Fan’ which will sway your Sims one way or another to either get along with supernatural Sims or want to steer clear of them. These traits create humorous new storylines that are fun to watch as your Sims fully embrace the unknown or try to ward them off.In addition, ordinary Sims will have new interactions to choose from. Two of my favorites are ‘Ask to Protect’ or ‘Promise to Protect’ which allows Sims to lean on their fellow neighbors in case of an unwanted encounter with a supernatural Sim. I find these interactions fun additions to the game that enable you to create more dynamic relationships and tell more intriguing stories.
We have tons of new CAS clothing, build/buy objects and specialty items that can all be enjoyed by ordinary Sims. Sims can build their experience in alchemy by brewing a range of elixirs that have numerous effects. Ordinary Sims can also venture into a new career as a fortune teller or take a visit to the Traveler’s Wagon to have their fortune read.
Additionally ordinary Sims will live in the new town of Moonlight Falls with a rich landscape, mysterious new venues and a surprising new Lunar Cycle that will cause a stir in town and have strange effects on ordinary Sims with the onset of the full moon.
4. Can supernatural Sims have babies? If so, what will it be?
Your supernatural Sims are certainly able to create children! Whether it’s a relationship between two of the same supernatural Sims, two differing supernatural Sims or a supernatural Sim and an ordinary Sim, they will be able to start a family and have a baby.The genetic system in The Sims 3 Supernatural works the same way as in The Sims 3 base game. The offspring of two of the same supernatural Sims will have a very high chance of inheriting the looks and traits of that supernatural type. The offspring of two differing supernatural Sims will have a chance of taking on the looks and abilities from one side of the family. The same goes for the offspring of supernatural Sims and ordinary Sims. The offspring will either have the looks and traits of the supernatural parent or of the ordinary parent.
All the above possibilities introduce new and compelling storylines to experience, making things around home a bit more mystical!
