The overpriced store being forced down our throat, poor expansions with little content and goal orientated gameplay being added, poor stuff packs, social features which we don’t want, and Electronic Arts not listening and simply rushing the game out of the door…

Simulation Time — Nu speelbaar voor Chinezen

Weten jullie het nog? Er zou een Sims social uitkomen genaamd Simulatin Time die alleen speelbaar is voor mensen uit China en vast ook wel voor Chinezen die in Nederland wonen, daarom heb ik het nieuws hier ook voor bij gehouden, lees hier het persbericht:

The universally popular life simulation franchise, The Sims™, is coming to China’s leading social network, Tencent Open Platform. The Sims Social™ is in development at Playfish™ in Beijing, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA), and will be available to Chinese players on Tencent’s social gaming network QZone. The Chinese name of the game is Mo Ni Shi Guang.

The new offering from EA and Tencent now brings the fun and humor of playing with life and interacting with friends to Chinese players. Mo Ni Shi Guang combines the best of The Sims gameplay from its creators at The Sims Studio with innovative social gaming features developed by Playfish for Tencent’s social game platform. Mo Ni Shi Guang expands the award winning Sims universe to China, and leveragesthe techniques and service resources from Tencent’s open platform to localize the game both in its art and game design.

The Tencent Open Platform is capable of providing high quality products and services to its users, and has now become China’s leading open platform. With Mo Ni Shi Guang, Tencent Open Platform is set to provide a greater experience to users. Closed Beta testing of The Sims Social is underway, and Open Beta is expected to begin in the coming months.

Sims 3 Showtime — Hands On door Simway

Electronic Arts in Keulen, het evenement geopend met een kleine presentatie voor ons. Daarna mochten we vallen voor het eerst op de computer, evenals het buffet, en de eerste indrukken van het spel te verzamelen. Toen kwam Peter en Sarah, en we werden beide geïnterviewd. Peter zelf was ook grote belangstelling voor ons en stelde veel vragen. Na de handtekening en foto sessies met de sterren, gingen we terug naar onze sterren en speelde op grote schaal op de nieuwe add-on. We hebben gekeken naar de loopbanen, schreef de nieuwe objecten, bleef nieuw leven beloningen en nog veel meer. Na het interview met producer Mike Cox heeft ook de tijd ging voorbij in een flits, en we waren op weg naar huis binnenkort.
